Salvete omnes!

Provincia America Transmississippiana is hosting a new Religio Romana Book Discussion Group to explore classical Roman religious life and practice.

Our first book will be Robert Turcan’s The Gods of Ancient Rome: Religion in Everyday Life from Archaic to Imperial Times (trans. Antonia Nevill).

Editions: Routledge (ISBN 0415929741) or Edinburgh University Press (ISBN 9781474473361). We will assign readings by chapter/section to accommodate different pagination.

Pace: ~50–60 pages/month across three months.

First Meeting: January (date TBD).

This group is open to everyone—curious beginners, experienced cultors, and any pontifices or sacerdotes generous enough to share their knowledge. Grab a copy now and join the conversation!

Valete,

M. Didius Vulpes
